Writing 4 Profit Returns to Rutherford & Ridgewood

Longtime Bergen County resident and professional freelance writer M.T. Schwartzman will be offering his popular class "Writing for Profit" at two area schools this spring. The five-week course offers practical advice for aspiring writers looking to sell their story ideas, and many students have sold their articles as a result of taking the class. Topics include how to write a query letter, choosing the right outlet, and the business aspects of writing. Sessions meet on Monday nights March 5 to April 2 from 7 to 9 at the Rutherford Adult School or Thursday nights March 8 to April 5 from 7 to 9 at the Ridgewood Community School. The cost is $60 (Rutherford) or $75 (Ridgewood).
