Developer Buys Hoboken Building, Ex-Hudson County Newspaper Office
The former home of the Hudson Reporter will be turned into a "prime retail asset," the developer says.

HOBOKEN, NJ — Real estate developer Thor Equities announced Monday that it has closed on the acquisition of 1400 Washington Street in Hoboken, the former office of the Hudson Reporter newspaper.
Thor Equities stated in a news release that the 6,000-square-foot, two level landmark bank building features more than 115 feet of wraparound frontage on 14th Street and Washington Street. The former home of the Hudson Reporter newspaper offices will be renovated and repositioned into a “prime retail asset,” the developer stated.
“Uptown Hoboken is continuing to evolve into a premier residential and retail destination, and 1400 Washington Street is in the epicenter of this transformation,” said Melissa Gliatta, COO of Thor Equities.
