Park and Garden, Bijou Properties’ latest “sustainable residential development” in Hoboken, is half-full only three months after opening, developers say.
According to a release, more than 50 percent of the 212 luxury residences in the building have been leased as of Nov. 10.
Located at 1450 Garden Street, the 12-story building features a mix of one, two and three-bedroom residences. Designed by Marchetto Higgins Stieve, the mixed-use building also features 13,000 square feet of street-level retail space and 32,000 square feet of educational space.

According to a release, the building has been designed for LEED Gold certification, and includes a vegetated roof terrace that reduces storm water runoff, a CHP (combined heat and power) module that produces hot water and electricity using a single natural gas fuel source, charging bays for electric cars, and spaces for 200 bicycles.
