Hoboken Apartment Complex Sold: $129.7 Million

Halstead 800 Madison, a 217-unit apartment community in Hoboken, was sold to AvalonBay Communities.

Hoboken, NJ – National real estate firm AvalonBay Communities has purchased Halstead 800 Madison, a 217-unit apartment community in Hoboken, for $129.7 million, according to a company news release.

The property’s former owner, The DSF Group, previously purchased the building in 2013 for $110 million, NJBiz reported.

The five-story building, located at the intersection of Madison and 8th Streets, was completed in 2008 and occupies a full city block, according to a company release issued on Monday.
