Hoboken Draws Another Real Estate Firm: Engel and Volkers To Open New Office
The international real estate agency plans to open its first Hoboken location on Washington Street.

International real estate agency Engel & Volkers has become the latest firm to announce their desire to expand into the Hoboken area.
According to a recent press release, the firm will open its first shop in Hoboken on Washington Street, bringing 41 agents to the new office.
The Hoboken location will be headed by Jane Estes and Nicholas Costantino, who “bring 29 years of experience in the marketplace,” a company release stated.

Engel and Volkers entered the North American real estate market in 2006, and now operates offices in New York City, Atlanta, Austin, Houston, Beverly Hills and Minneapolis, the company’s website states.
“With an ever-growing appeal that has continued to draw in a diverse range of buyers and sellers, Hoboken presented itself as a key market to expand our New Jersey footprint,” stated Anthony Hitt, CEO of Engel & Volkers North America.

“Hoboken is experiencing growing interest from international and local buyers who are attracted to the area’s quick access to the city, numerous transportation options, family-oriented offerings, abundance of waterfront parks and walkways with stunning views of New York City, evolving food scene and diverse cultural offerings,” the company stated in a release.
“In addition, buyers are drawn to the key large businesses in Hoboken, as well as nearby Jersey City and Weehawken, including Goldman Sachs, Stevens Institute of Technology and UBS Warburg,” a release stated.
