HUDSON COUNTY, NJ — Could a Wawa be coming to Hudson County? According to a recent real estate listing, it may be a possibility.

A Wawa convenience store and gas station has been proposed at 1 Garfield Avenue in Jersey City along the Bayonne border, JerseyDigs.com reported.

The Hudson Bayonne Lanes bowling alley is currently located at the site, which would have to be demolished to make way for the new development, JerseyDigs reported. The real estate listing can be seen here.

A Wawa spokesperson didn’t return requests for confirmation, the report stated.

In 2016, the convenience store – which has more than 720 locations nationwide – announced plans to open seven new locations in New Jersey in Hamilton, Bridgewater Township, Somerdale, Edison and Maplewood.
