Hoboken, NJ – Prepare to say goodbye to the 8,000 square foot, two-story former office space at 1101 Grand Street in Hoboken.
A new residential building will be erected at the site once demolition and cleanup efforts are completed, marking “another sign that the city’s residential growth is officially moving full speed ahead,” Jersey Digs reported on Thursday.
According to the North Bergen-based Molfetta Corporation, the five-story, 36,000 square-foot building will include 16 residential units.

Redevelopment plans for the property were originally approved in June of 2006 but became affected by the recession and never got built, Jersey Digs stated.
