Opera Performer Joins Hoboken Real Estate Firm

Special Properties Real Estate Services LLC, an exclusive affiliate of Christie’s International Real Estate, voted "Affiliate of the Year" in 2017 and 2018, has welcomed Melanie Campbell as a realtor associate in its Hoboken, NJ office. Her addition is part of the agency’s ongoing growth and expansion throughout Hudson County and northern New Jersey.

Campbell is fast distinguishing herself as a strong and versatile negotiator in the real estate industry, and is a member of the Hudson County Multiple Listing Service. In addition to her real estate work, she is a mezzo-soprano opera performer who has performed various opera roles, including some as a soloist, across the northeast and mid-Atlantic regions.

Campbell received a Bachelor of Arts in Music, with a minor in sociology, from George Mason University and a Masters of Music (and Graduate Diploma) in Vocal Performance from the New England Conservatory of Music. Campbell also lived in Germany for five years, receiving a diploma at the Franz Liszt School of music in Weimar, Germany, and speaks proficient German. A lover of sports as well, she was an all-state shot-putter in New Jersey and went on to compete during her time at George Mason University.

Originally from Princeton, NJ, Campbell is a current resident of Essex County.
