HOBOKEN, NJ — A Hoboken townhome owned and renovated by Johan de Nysschen, the chief operating officer of Volkswagen Group North America Region, sold on May 11 for $5.25 million, which The Real Deal says is a record for a townhome in Hoboken.

The 6,000-square-foot house at 113 Grand St., near the city's southern border and a 10-block walk from the train station, isn't just any townhouse. It boasts a four-car garage, roof deck, indoor pool (check it out here), and sauna.

Real Deal reports, "Built in 1897, the building served as a milk-bottling plant before being converted to a residence. Van de Nysschen did his own gut-renovation and redesign."
