'Vine' Stretches In Hoboken: New Rental Property Open On Monroe Street
Vine will be the fourth LEED-certified building introduced by Bijou Properties in Hoboken.
Hoboken, NJ – Intercontinental Real Estate Corporation and Bijou Properties have announced the launch of Vine, a new 11-story building featuring 135 rental residences located at 900 Monroe Street in Hoboken.
Hoboken Mayor Dawn Zimmer joined fellow municipal officials, union leaders and development principals for a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of the building, which is located adjacent to the 9th Street Hudson Bergen Light Rail Station.
In addition to the new residences, Vine features 13,500 square feet of street-level retail space, occupied in part by a Daycare Center, according to a news release.

The developers are also creating an adjacent 7,000 square-foot public park, the release stated.
“Congratulations to the Bijou Properties team, Intercontinental Real Estate Corporation and all the professionals who put their heart and soul into making this project happen,” Zimmer said. “Thank you for choosing the City of Hoboken, and thank you... for making this an even hipper place to live.”

The ribbon cutting event signifies the start of leasing for the upscale one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, which are available for immediate occupancy, a release stated.
According to the project’s developers, Vine generated more than 125 union construction jobs during development and has been built in accordance with the U.S. Green Building Council’s standards for LEED certification.

Designed by Marchetto Stieve Higgins Architects, the building offers designer and energy-efficient features that include sustainable bamboo flooring, oversized windows, kitchens and baths with modern fixtures, Frigidaire and Bosch Energy Star appliances, granite countertops and modern cabinetry and baths with recycled porcelain tile.
Monthly rents begin at $2,800, according to a release.
