Spirit Golf Salutes Veterans and Active Military

In recognition of Veterans Day, Spirit Golf, a full-service golf course ownership and management company headquartered in Hopewell, New Jersey, will proudly honor all active and retired military personnel with complimentary cart service and lunch at its seven managed golf properties on Friday, November 10.

Spirit owns and operates Hopewell Valley Golf & Country Club (Hopewell, N.J.) and manages Five Ponds Golf Club (Warminster, Pa.); Greencastle Golf Club (Greencastle, Pa.); Makefield Highlands Golf Club (Yardley, Pa.); Mill Race Golf & Camping (Benton, Pa.); Stonybrook Golf Club (Hopewell, N.J.); and Clearbrook Golf Course (Monroe Township, N.J.).

“We are privileged to do our part to honor the great sacrifices that our nation’s heroes have given for our freedoms,” said Spirit Golf Management President Mike Attara. “Supporting our club’s communities, especially the active and retired military residing in them, is one of the core values of Spirit Golf.”

Since being founded in 2009, Spirit Golf Management has initiated many programs to support and acknowledge the nation’s military. Every year, all Spirit properties support Patriot Golf Day, and in 2016, Spirit launched “Red Shirt Fridays,” a program that benefits the Folds of Honor Foundation. The Folds of Honor Foundation offers financial assistance to the families of fallen and wounded soldiers.
