LAKE HOPATCONG, NJ — Looking for a different take on 4th of July weekend fireworks? The annual Lake Hopatcong fireworks are back for 2017 holiday.
Sponsored by the Lake Hopatcong Yacht Club, the Friday, June 30 fireworks are visible to everyone on the lake. Fuel docks at the club will be open late for those who need it.
The fireworks usually being at 9:15 p.m., and are sent off from a barge in the lake. An online commenter recommended parking your boat in the lake, or finding a lakeside venue to watch from.
