Circus Rolls Into Jefferson Next Week
Here's what you need to know about the old-school circus with old-school prices coming to Jefferson.
JEFFERSON, NJ— The circus is coming to Jefferson with an all new, old-school show.
The Kelly Miller Circus will have two shows on June 22, sponsored by the Jefferson-Sparta Rotary Club. The first one starts at 4:30 p.m. and the second at 7:30 p.m.
This is an old style circus, including a tent raising and animal unloading. The tent raising begins at 9 a.m. on June 22. Pony, camel and elephant rides are available beginning one our before showtime, the Jefferson Chronicle reports. You can read more about their performances here.

Ringling North II, a descend of the Ringling Brothers, will be presented with the keys to the city by Mayor Russell Felter during a ceremony at the 4:30 p.m. show.
The circus is located at Fireman’s Field (750 Route 15 South in Lake Hopatcong). Tickets start at $6 for children and $12 for adults if bought in advance; day-of tickets cost $8 for children and $16 for adults. Children two and under are freeYou can purchase them here.
