A dispute over an order resulted in a Wendy's employee allegedly being assaulted with a Frosty drink, according to police.
Police said that Priscilla Ranta, 23, of Jefferson, threw a Frosty drink at the employee of the Wendy's Restaurant on Route 15 in Lake Hopatcong Dec. 3 because she was unhappy with her order. The incident continued when Ranta entered the restaurant and confronted the employee and allegedly assaulted her, police said.
Ranta may have been under the influence of a controlled dangerous substance, according to police. She was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, driving while intoxicated, and motor vehicle summonses.

Ranta was released pending a municipal court appearance.
