Circus Trip

Children of all ages are invited to join the Jefferson Township Recreation Department for Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey’s Dragons^SM a magical, wondrous, and amazing circus show!  It's at The IZOD Center at the Meadowlands on Friday, March 9, 2012 for the 7:30 PM performance. 

At 6:30 PM Dragons^SM opens with the All-Access Preshow^® available to all ticket holders. Families join Host Andre McClain and participate in interactive experiences such as learning juggling and balancing skills, get performer autographs, see one of the majestic Asian elephant’s paint a one-of-a-kind masterpiece and meet the Ringling Bros. Clowns, whose side-splitting spoofs, absurd antics and comical parody are guaranteed to keep audiences roaring with laughter!

Dragons^SM is a once in a millennium event that honors The Year of the Dragon. Circus performers from the farthest reaches of the earth have assembled to showcase their astounding acts of bravery and astonishing athleticism.  Ringmaster Johnathan Lee Iverson presides over this fantastical celebratory tournament of circus champions that brings together mystic dragon lore with authentic circus feats. Dragons^SM is a never-before-seen blend of renowned spiritual and real life legends that can be found only at The Greatest Show On Earth!®   

 A deluxe motor coach bus will leave the Jefferson Township Municipal Building, 1033 Weldon Road at 5 PM sharp, and expected departure from the Arena is 9:30 PM. Tickets are $34 per person and include lower level reserved seats (Section 103, Rows 4-10), roundtrip deluxe motorcoach transportation, and driver gratuity. A responsible adult must accompany children under the age of 18, and there are no refunds unless your ticket can be resold. 

            Reserve tickets in person by cash, check/money order payable to the “Township of Jefferson”, or MasterCard or Discover with a 2.45% surcharge at the Recreation Department office at Camp Jefferson, 81 Weldon Road between 9 AM to 4:30 PM – Monday thru Thursday and 8 AM to 3:30 PM on Fridays. Or mail your reservation to the Recreation Department, Camp Jefferson, 81 Weldon Road, Lake Hopatcong, NJ 07849.  However, reservations made by mail are subject to availability upon receipt. Phone reservations will be accepted with either of the above credit cards. First come, first-served!  Download the reservation form from www.jeffersontownship.net, click on the “Residents” tab, on the drop-down menu choose “Forms Center” and then scroll down to “Recreation Department”.
