Food Drive for our neighbors in need

Please help us bring food to our community members who are out of work and out of money.

Mutual Morris has been your county-wide mutual aid network since February, helping our community members in many ways, but particularly with food. We've reached approximately 350 families in need so far and we know there are many thousands more. Most of these families were already financially precarious before COVID-19 hit, and have nothing left. The food pantries and other distribution systems of donated food are struggling to keep up with the demand and we are finding many of them have cut their offerings quite a bit to each family. But the families still need to eat, so we will keep doing our work as well. But we need your help.

We have donation bins in Jefferson Township (Lake Shawnee) and around Morris County and will be grateful for non-perishable food, especially rice and dried (not canned) black or red beans, or diapers of any size.

Please contact us for an address or if you need anything yourself or if you would like to join us.
