Jefferson Fireworks Hailed as 'Best in the County'
Jefferson Township officials praised this year's fireworks display during council meeting.

Jefferson Township officials are proud of this year's fireworks display at Jefferson Day. So proud, they've even called them the "best in the county,"according to a news report.
While discussing the success of this year's Jefferson Day, held July 13, at the July 17 township council meeting, Council Vice President Michael Sanchelli said he thinks the annual Jefferson fireworks display is the best in the county, and possibly even the state, according to AIM Jefferson.
Sanchelli also said that this year's opening, which was 71 seconds long, was longer than the finales of many towns' displays, the newspaper reported.
