Jefferson Rec Offering Golf Classes

There are classes for almost any age or skill level.

JEFFERSON, NJ— The Jefferson Recreation Department will be offering golf lessons for players of all ages.

Classes are broken up by age bracket and ability level. They'll be held at Bowling Green Gold Club, and run by Head Golf Professional Sean Roeser and Assistant Golf Professional Derek Bishop.

Junior Level 1 Beginners Basics

These lessons are for ages 6-14. They run April 23 through June 11 (no classes on May 14 or 28), and are 30-45 minutes each. Ages 6-9 meet at 3 p.m., and ages 10-14 meet at 4 p.m. $70 a student.

Adult Level 1 Beginners Basic

These lessons are for ages 15 and up, on Saturdays for a 45 to 60 minutes. They begin on April 22 and running through June 3 at 4 pm (no class on May 27). $100 per person.

Level II Intro to Playing

Seven to 14 year olds are welcome for these lessons, Tuesdays at 5. The 30-45 minute lessons start April 25 and running through May 30. $70 per student.

Intermediate Level II Intro to Playing -- Adults

Those 15 and older are welcome for these lessons, Saturdays at 5 pm. the first class is April 22 and it runs through June 3 (no class on May 27). Classes are 45-60 minutes. $100 per student.

If you need golf clubs, you must indicate that during your online registration when asked, and Bowling Green will provide them for you.
