Jefferson Senior Signs to Play Lacrosse at Manhattan College

Darby Nolan will attend the New York college in fall 2013.

A Jefferson Township High School senior recently signed with Manhattan College to play lacrosse.

Darby Nolan, who is going into her final season with over 100 career goals and 34 assists, will attend the New York college next fall and major in business.

Nolan, who began playing lacrosse in 7th grade, will be a 4-year Varisty Letter winner for her final year at the high school.

In her early years, she started out playing the sport with Morris Storm, and moved on to Steps Elite for the past two summers.

Nolan made her decision to attend Manhattan College after visiting several schools in the recruiting process.

According to a release from the school's athletic office, the township teen is looking forward to playing for Coach Diane Haddeland, who she met while playing with Morris Storm.
