Are you excited for the new farmers market? Let Patch know in the comments!

JEFFERSON, NJ— The first farmers market in Jefferson Township is opening this spring, when the aptly named Jefferson Township Farmers Market starts on June 4.

The market will sell locally grown and made products, including fresh vegetables, honey and wood crafts. It will be open every Sunday between June 4 and Oct. 29, rain or shine, at the Jefferson Township Municipal Building.

“This is all about promoting local businesses and to bring the freshest most wholesome products possible to our residents. We’re going to start small and add as necessary," organizers Vicki Burke and Tom Galfo told the Jefferson Chronicle.
