Lake Hopatcong resident Kevin Thomas was sworn in as a firefighter for J at Wednesday’s township council meeting.
“I’ve been a firefighter for 25 years now,” Thomas said. “I just moved into town, and I wanted to keep doing this.”
Thomas was accompanied by his fiancée Cristina Antunes, who held the bible as he was sworn in, and Lt. David Cascone of fire company no. 2.
