Ahh, smartphones. Many of us couldn’t live without them. There are just so many things we can do on our phones to waste—err, pass—time. And some of them are actually helpful.

Huffington Post recently cited a report from Online Publishing Associates that 47 percent of smartphone owners they surveyed said they use their phones mostly to check the weather.
