Body Found in Rockaway ID'd as Missing Man

, who was reported missing by his family last month, the Morris County Prosecutor's Office said.

. Rockaway Township police officers found his body while searching the woods near Mt. Hope Pond off Richard Mine Road—just down the street from where he lived.

The cause and manner of his death is still pending results by the Morris County Medical Examiner’s Office, the prosecutor's office said.

Assisting in the search were the Morris County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Unit and the New Jersey Search and Rescue Team. Members of The Morris County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crime Unit, Morris County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Section and the Morris County Medical Examiner’s Office all responded to jointly investigate.
