JEFFERSON, NJ — Jefferson students' SAT scores rank in the top 200 of the average scores across New Jersey, information released by the New Jersey Department of Education shows.
The average SAT score in Jefferson for the 2017-18 school year was 1087, or 151st highest in New Jersey out of 307 districts.
For the math portion of the exam Jefferson's average score was 546, good for 144th highest.

The reading and writing portion the average Jefferson score was 541, or 166th highest in New Jersey.
The SAT scores were part of the state Department of Education's School Performance Reports for the 2017-18 school year. The reports include figures on enrollment, proficiency scores, PARCC scores, graduation rates and SAT scores.
