Stolen Cars, Drunk Driving, Warrants: Jefferson Police Blotter

JEFFERSON, NJ — Jefferson Township police made a number of arrests between Sept. 13 and Sept. 26, including for drunk driving, warrants, and a stolen car. You can read about those arrests, as written by police in the blotter, here:

09/13/19 Burglary, Theft, CDS Possession: Kenneth Romalino, 31, of Franklinville, NJ, was arrested for Burglary, Theft, and Possession of Heroin after he entered a vehicle at Texas Smoke and removed $50.00 from a wallet. Mr. Romalino fled the scene by running into the woods behind the restaurant. A search of the wooded area located Mr. Romalino. He was arrested, charged and released pending a future court date.

09/14/19 MV Crash, DWI: Kenneth Florence, 49, of Lake Hopatcong was arrested for DWI after striking a mailbox and a large rock on Dover Milton Road. He was processed at Jefferson Township Police Headquarters, issued summons and released pending a future court date.

09/15/19 Resisting, Eluding, MV Crash: Brandon Gershon, 24, of Livingston and Matthew Pagan, 24, of Colonia were arrested for Resisting Arrest after P.O. Williams attempted to stop their motorcycles on Rt 15N near the Sparta line for speeding and changing lanes in a unsafe manner; however they failed to stop. They eventually stopped in the area of Wilson Drive in Sparta. They were arrested and transported to Jefferson Township Police Headquarters to be processed. They were issued Complaint Summon, MV summons and released pending a future court date.

09/17/19 MV Theft: Jeanne Believe, 21, of Lake Hopatcong was arrested at a MV Stop after PO Parisi’s investigation revealed the vehicle was stolen from Stone Water Restaurant. She was issued complaint summons and released pending a future court date.

09/17/19 Warrant Arrest: NJSP arrested James Guarino, 42, of Netcong on a $1500 Jefferson Township Warrant. PO Johnson and PO Parisi transported Mr. Guarino to MCCF without incident.

09/21/19 MV Stop/DWI Arrest: Richard Clark, 21, of Sparta was arrested for DWI during a MV Stop on Rt.181. Further investigation revealed Mr. Clark was under the influence of an alcoholic beverage. He was arrested, processed, and was issued several summonses pending future court date.

09/21/19 MV Crash/DWI arrest: Deveney Zebrowski, 28, of Hewitt, NJ was arrested for DWI at the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Berkshire Valley Rd. Zebrowski drove off the roadway and struck a parked vehicle in the area of Maple Ave. Zebrowski was arrested, processed, and issued several MV summonses pending a future court date.

09/25/19 MV Stop, CDS Arrest: Jajahira Rivera, 31, of Paterson was arrested for Possession of CDS during a MV Stop on Route 15 South. She was arrested, processed, and released pending a future court date.

9/26/19 MV Stop, DWI Arrest: Kayla Curtis, 22, of Lake Hopatcong was arrested for DWI during a MV Stop on Weldon Rd. She was arrested, processed, and released pending a future court date.
