Third Order Franciscan and Rosarian Joan Kucinski Dies at 81
Kucinski raised eight children and was a faithful parishioner of St. Simon the Apostle RC Church in Green Pond.
Joan B. Kucinski, 81, died surrounded by family Oct. 26 in her Oak Ridge, according to a notice on the website of the Stickle-Soltesz Funeral Home.
Born Joan Pinkus in Passaic, she married Alfred W. Kucinski in 1953 and together they raised their eight children.
Kucinski was a faithful parishioner of St. Simon the Apostle RC Church in Green Pond, NJ. She was also a Third Order Franciscan and Rosarian and is remembered for her love of God and her family.
She is survived by her husband Alfred, children Alfred, John, Catherine, Paul, Mary, AnnaMarie, Susan and Regina; 25 grandchildren, three great grandsons and sister Gail Pison.
A Mass of Christian Burial wfor Kucinski was held Oct. 29 at St. Simon the Apostle RC Church. The Stickle-Soltesz Funeral Home in Newfoundland handled arrangements. She was laid to rest at St. Nicholas Cemetery in Lodi.
