JERSEY CITY, NJ — A historic, Victorian-era brownstone was sold recently for more than $2.4 million.

The 2,500-square-foot Queen Anne Victorian brownstone was built in the 1850s. The sale price was $2.425 million, according to Realtor.com.

The brownstone features a grand foyer with a stately staircase, large skylight, a wood-burning fireplace in the living room with a marble mantle, and views of Van Vorst Park.

The second floor has a master bedroom with huge bay windows, another wood-burning fireplace, sitting area, and a walk-in closet.

The home's garden level has a one-bedroom, four-room apartment, along with a garden. There is also a driveway, garage, and full basement.
