4 Hurt In Head-On Lacey Crash: Police
Four people, including a 2-year-old boy, were hurt in a head-on crash in Lacey Township on Thursday, police said.

LACEY – Four people, including a 2-year-old boy, were hurt in a head-on crash in Lacey Township on Thursday, police said.
A teenager, her 2-year-old son and a 20-year-old were injured in a serious motor vehicle crash on Beach Boulevard after their vehicle was struck head-on at approximately 3:29 p.m., according to police.
Lainy Raines, 18, of Eagleswood was airlifted to Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune, while her 2-year-old son and Michael Busza, 20, of Tuckerton, were taken to Jersey Shore University Medical Center and treated for minor injuries, police said.

The crash occurred just before 3:30 p.m. as Raines was driving west on Beach Boulevard, police said. Glen Wittersheim, 60, of Lacey, who was in his car driving east on Beach Boulevard, crossed the centerline and smashed into the other car.
The Ocean County Sheriff’s Department CSI Unit also responded to assist in the investigation, as well as assistance from members of the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office.
