9 Lacey Restaurants Approved For Outdoor Seating
The German Butcher and Lacey Diner are among the establishments approved for outdoor-dining permits.

LACEY, NJ — Lacey officials gave nine restaurants the go-ahead to develop outdoor seating. Here's where you can find new outdoor dining options:
- Kate and Ally’s
- Captain's Inn
- Tomatos Pizzeria
- Lacey Diner
- Island Beach Distillery
- Backwards Flag Brewing Company
- German Butcher
- Little Italy Pizza
- Anthony’s Seafood
The township is in the process of approving other applications, Administrator Veronica Laureigh said Monday morning. The list doesn't include restaurants that already have outdoor seating, such as the Tiki Bar at Captain's Inn or Caffrey's Backyard.
Monday promises to be New Jersey's biggest reopening day since Gov. Phil Murphy issued a stay-at-home order and closed "nonessential" businesses on March 21.

As part of New Jersey's "stage-two" reopening, outdoor dining and indoor retail were allowed to resume on Monday, largely because of New Jersey's progress in containing the coronavirus and slowing the growth rate of the disease. The Ocean County Health Department has reported 237 coronavirus cases and 11 deaths in Lacey as of Monday morning. The department reported only nine new cases Sunday in Ocean County, bringing the area's total to 9,200 cases.
