
The Annual Lacey Historical Society’s Apple Festival has joined a partnership with the Lacey Township Board of Recreation in presenting the joint Lacey Day Celebration. This event will be held at Gille Park on Saturday, September 28th, from noon to 4pm.
The Apple Pie Baking Contest will continue to be open to the public and will include two categories; adults and students. Winners from each category will be announced that day at 3:45pm. Monetary prizes will consist of $50 for first place, $30 for second and $20 for third. Pies need to be delivered to the Gille Park pavilion between 10:30am and Noon.
To participate in the Apple Pie competition, a completed registration form is required. Forms will be made available after August 15th the Lacey Old Schoolhouse Museum’s front door, 126 S. Main Street and the Lacey Board of Recreation office. Should further information be required, call the Museum at 609 971-0467, leave a message and your call will be returned.

Days of old games, competitions and traditional activities for children and adults will be offered throughout the day at the pavilion. 1890’s children and adult costumes will be available for selfies. Enjoy food, demonstrations, learn about local businesses, listen to music and play the raffle (you need not bet there to win).
