LACEY, NJ — Captain's Inn in Lacey temporarily closed after an employee tested positive for the coronavirus, the establishment announced Sunday. The restaurant will reopen at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday.

One employee tested positive for COVID-19 because of an "outside influence," Captain's Inn announced on Facebook. The worker has not experienced symptoms.

Captain's Inn temporarily closed for professional sanitization and disinfection.

The closure came a few days after Caffrey's announced it would temporarily shutter because of the coronavirus. Two Caffrey's employees tested positive for COVID-19, the restaurant announced Thursday. Read more: Caffrey's In Lacey Closes After 2 Workers Test Positive For COVID

The Ocean County Health Department has reported 297 total coronavirus cases and 10 deaths in Lacey as of Monday morning.
