Chico, A Deaf Young Pup, Needs A Loving Home

Chico is available for adoption at the Associated Humane Societies Popcorn Park Animal Shelter in Lacey

LACEY TOWNSHIP, NJ - Chico, a very young, very happy pup, needs a forever home. He is deaf, but that doesn't stop him from doing anything.

He can follow hand signals, he walks well on a leash and takes treats gently, according to a post on the Associated Humane Popcorn Park Shelter's Facebook page.

Take a look at Chico having fun with some of his Popcorn Park buddies.

Chico is only one and a half years old. He had a home, but was kept in a backyard crate when his owners were not present.

"Since that wasn't the ideal situation for this bright and bubbly pup, he was turned in to have a chance at finding a home where he would have a better life," the post states.

Chico would do better as an only pet, since he was never well-socialized with other animals.

"But he has enough love and fun to give you that you won't need much else in your life," the post states. "He's spunky and fun-loving, and always ready to have a great time with you. He would bring lots of joy to any great family."

Chico's file number is #28115 4/26/18. To find out more about adopting this pup, go to Popcorn Park's Facebook page, then click on "about" on the left, then click on "general information," then adoption.
