Crash With Injuries Wednesday On Garden State Parkway In Berkeley
A car and a tractor-trailer were involved in the crash. Several were injured but all are alert, police said.

BERKELEY, NJ — A crash with injuries took place on the Garden State Parkway in Berkeley, according to State Police. Authorities are still investigating the scene as of 3:25 p.m., according to Lt. Theodore Schafer. Expect delays.
A car and a tractor-trailer collided at 2:23 p.m. on the northbound side of the Parkway at mile marker 77, Schafer said. All people in the vehicles were alert and conscious, but some were taken to Jersey Shore University Medical Center.
Schafer did not yet know how many people were injured. Two children were in the car.

511NJ.org reported at 3:01 p.m. that the two right northbound lanes are blocked.
Previous word from officials indicated the crash may be in the Lacey area. Schafer clarified that the crash took place in Berkeley. Mile marker 77 is just south of exit 77 to Pinewald Keswick Road.
