Criminal Mischief To Vehicle Caused Up $20,000 In Damage: Chief
Someone poured water into the gas line of a parked vehicle on Alpine Street in Forked River

LACEY TOWNSHIP, NJ - Lacey police are looking for whoever poured water into the gas line of a parked car in the 800 block of Alpine Street in Forked River, Police Chief Michael C. DiBella said
Officer Dimitrios Tsarnas responded to a criminal mischief report at 11:33 a.m. on Sept. 22. The victim told him that an unknown person or persons had put water into the gas line of his vehicle while it was parked in his driveway during the night hours of Sept. 17, the chief said.
Damage to the car is estimated at $17,000 to $20,000, DiBella said.
