End the Year by Saving Others

It's not too late to still save lives in 2019. Taco Bell, Heart to Hut and Vitalant Blood Services are teaming up to host the last Forked River Community Blood Drive of the year. This life saving event will be held on Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at the Taco Bell located at 238 N Main Street Forked River NJ next to Home Depot from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm. During the holiday season, we call on all eligible donors to help save lives and ensure an adequate and safe blood supply for local hospitals and patients.

Donors must be 17 yrs old (16 yrs old with parental consent), weigh 110 lbs or more and generally feel healthy and well the day of the event. Donors can log on to www.vitalant.org to find the event and schedule an appointment though walk ins are welcome! You can also check eligibility requirements for travel, medications and medical conditions. To help alleviate time factors, you can click on the Donor Express option on the website, follow the directions the day of the event and answer all your questions prior to arriving at the blood drive. Donors will be thanked for their commitment to the community blood program with a special Holiday Shirt, $10.00 Gift Card and a $5.00 Taco Bell Value meal.
