Fire On Oyster Creek Property Under Investigation In Lacey
The fire was contained to a small area and is under investigation by the New Jersey State Forest Fire Service.
LACEY, NJ — Forked River and Waretown Volunteer Fire Departments responded to a fire on Oyster Creek property on Sunday.
Authorities responded just before 7 p.m. and extinguished the fire, police said.
Lacey Township police officer Patrick Watkins found a transformer at the southern end of the property that appeared to arc causing a fire to originate in the adjacent brush, according to police.
