LACEY, NJ — New Jersey barber shops and salons remain closed because of new-coronavirus restrictions. But one Lacey business has shuttered permanently.

Great Clips in the Lacey Mall permanently closed, a company communications representative told Patch. No other information regarding the closure was immediately available.

Great Clips is a 100-percent franchised company with more than 4,400 hair salons across North America, according to the company's website.

Governor Phil Murphy ordered the closure March 19 of salons, barber shops and other personal-care businesses. He said that their businesses "cannot comply with social distancing guidelines."
