Help Robo Cop, A Popcorn Park Pup, Find A Home
It's National Dog Month and Patch wants to help 1,000 homeless dogs find loving homes by the end of September.
LACEY, NJ — It's National Dog Month, and while many folks have four-legged pals to share their homes, Patch is kicking off an effort we hope you'll join: We want to help 1,000 dogs in New Jersey and Pennsylvania find their forever homes.
As part of that effort, we will be highlighting dogs that currently are waiting in shelters for someone to adopt them.
Robo Cop is one of those dogs. He is at the Associated Humane Popcorn Park Shelter at 1 Humane Way, Forked River. Robo Cop is a 1-year-old Miniature Pinscher (min pin) who came to the shelter as a stray.

"He is a sweet, playful, fun-loving little guy! Robo Cop has lots of energy and is very active," Popcorn Park Shelter wrote. "He will need playtime and walk-time every day as he's not one to lounge around, being a couch potato."
He makes friends easily, he behaves well on a leash and he sits when asked. Robo Cop is gentle when he takes treats.

Unfortunately, he doesn't care for other dogs, according to the shelter. So Robo Cop needs a home with no other pooches. But Robo Cop offers love, loyalty and spunk.
Robo Cop's impound number is File#29014. Click here for more info on Robo Cop or other animals looking for a home. Or call 609-693-1900.
