LACEY, NJ — Curious George took an unusual trip to the Associated Humane Popcorn Park Shelter. The 4-month-old kitten was dumped in the park's animal refuge and found by the baboon enclosure.

The shelter says he definitely came from an owner. Curious George smelled of perfume and had cat litter under his nails. He was found quickly and safely, and now he wants a forever home.

"Curious George was a little shaken up at first," the Popcorn Park Shelter wrote on Facebook, "but he has quickly turned into a purry ball of mush that is happy to be held, cuddled, and to make new friends. He's a total sweetheart that loves everyone he meets."
