Lacey Chamber Of Commerce Hosting Trick Or Trunk Event On Oct. 24

Businesses and nonprofits will be on hand to give out goodies to ghosts, goblins, pirates and princesses.

Trick or treaters and their parents, listen up.

The Lacey Chamber of Commerce will hold their second annual Trunk or Treat Event at Gille Park in Forked River on Saturday, Oct. 24.

Businesses and nonprofit groups will be handing out candy from the trunks of their decorated vehicles to any children in costumes. Last year more than 750 children attended.

The event will run between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. and offers children a way to trick or treat in a safe environment. The event will feature a face painter, balloon artists and pumpkins for sale.

Volunteers are the event are encouraged to dress in costumes as well as decorating their vehicles. Businesses and organizations are limited to one car and must provide their own candy.
