Lacey Chipotle, Starbucks, Burger King Could Open Next Spring

LACEY, NJ — Lacey could get three new chain restaurants this spring. The developers for Chipotle Mexican Grill, Burger King and Starbucks provided estimates on when they might open.

Starbucks expects to open at 750 Lacey Rd. in April or May, according to Joseph Celan, the owner of Invest River, LLC. Jay R. Several — the owner of 2020 Equities, LLC — expects Chipotle and Burger King to open late spring or early summer at 246 N Main St.

Invest River and 2020 Equities each applied last month to put the respective restaurants in Lacey. The Planning Board approved both plans Sept. 14. Read more: Lacey Board Approves New Chipotle, Starbucks, Burger King

Lacey will see a major shuffle in chain restaurants. The Planning Board approved in June to allow a Popeyes to open at the former Burger King site in the Lacey Mall. The owners hope to open the restaurant sometime this year. Read more: Lacey Popeyes Approved, Franchisee Hopes To Open This Year

A Burger King also returned to the renovated Forked River Service Plaza that reopened in May.
