Cases
The Ocean County Health Department has reported 288 coronavirus cases and 11 deaths in Lacey as of Thursday afternoon. That's an increase of 15 cases but no additional deaths since Lacey Patch's last update July 16.

Officials reported 34 new cases Wednesday in Ocean County, bringing the area to 10,030 cases and 941 deaths.

Ocean County recently began testing asymptomatic patients July 6 at its Ocean County College drive-thru site.
To schedule a test appointment, Ocean County residents can visit the Ocean County Health Department website at www.ochd.org. If residents have any questions, they can call the Health Department at 732-341-9700, ext. 7411.
- Urgent Care Now in Lanoka Harbor has coronavirus testing available for all Lacey Township residents. Patients must show a driver's license or government-issued ID showing a Lacey address. MORE.
- Hackensack Meridian Urgent Care in Forked River can test whether patients were previously infected with the coronavirus. Hackensack Meridian's urgent care centers began antibody testing May 2. MORE.
- Rite Aid has expanded its self-swab testing to two more Toms River stores. MORE.
