Lacey High School To Hold In-Person Graduation
Graduation is set for July 10, but logistics will depend on social distancing restrictions on that date.
LACEY, NJ — Lacey Township High School will hold an in-person graduation ceremony — or, perhaps, multiple ceremonies. Logistics will depend on the state's coronavirus restrictions for crowd gatherings on the planned date of July 10.
Graduation will take place at the Lacey Township High School football field, according to a note from Principal Gregory J. Brandis. School officials are required to submit their ceremony plan to the New Jersey Department of Education seven days before the event to ensure compliance.
Officials will share the final plan with students and families once the state approves it. There may be modifications to the ceremony plans up until the week of July 10 as restrictions and guidelines change.

The rain date for graduation is July 11.
Some the new rules for the live ceremonies, which would be either modified in-person events or drive-in graduations, mandate that they must held after July 6 and they will be capped at the state's maximum for gatherings.
