Lacey High School Pivots To Remote Learning For 1 Week
Lacey Township High School transitioned to full remote learning instruction Tuesday after students and staff tested positive for COVID-19.
LACEY, NJ — Lacey Township High School transitioned to full remote learning instruction Tuesday after students and staff members tested positive for coronavirus over the weekend.
High school students will return to in-person learning on Monday, Feb. 22 with the A/B Hybrid Cohort Model of instruction.
Principal Gregory Brandis announced the transition in a letter to parents on Monday.

“During this time we will continue to monitor COVID-19 related conditions and the potential impact upon Lacey Township High School,” Brandis said.
Brandis said the school will conduct contact tracing, communicate any required quarantine recommendations and perform a deep cleaning of its facilities.

All co-curricular activities, including sports, will be paused at this time until further notice. Brandis said school officials will make a decision on the timeframe to resume activities later this week.
Students will continue their education via remote learning during the school closure and should engage with their teachers through their Canvas accounts for meeting times, directions and assignments.
