Lacey Inflatable Water Park Opening Week Of June 22
The inflatable park was put in Lake Barnegat this week. It'll open June 22 or sometime within a week after.

LACEY, NJ — Lacey's inflatable water park is set to open June 22 or within a week after, according to Township Administrator Veronica Laureigh. The exact day for the soft opening has not been determined, but the ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place Friday, June 29.
Staff training and mock rescues will take place next week. An hour of park usage will cost $10 for Lacey beach badge holders and $15 for everyone else.
The water park is for swimmers 8 and older. Life vests will be required — you can bring your own, if it's certified, or the Township will provide one for free.

It's like a waterpark-shaped inflatable raft. And the park features some individual steps just below the surface to make it easy to get on.
The Township made the announcement in April as part of its 2019 capital projects. Residents can even rent it out for kid's birthday parties.

How many people could this attract? Another inflatable water park, the WhoaZone At Whihala Beach in Whiting, Ind., has hosted more than 20,000 visitors since opening in June 2017.
