Lacey Jogger Seriously Injured After Collision With SUV
Officials airlifted the man to Jersey Shore University Medical Center.
LACEY, NJ — A jogger sustained "serious" injuries after a collision with an SUV on Thursday morning. Officials airlifted the 50-year-old Lacey man to the Jersey Shore University Medical Center.
The incident took place at about 6:20 a.m. on Western Boulevard by Brick Avenue. The driver of a 2016 Honda Pilot was traveling north on Western Boulevard. As he passed Brick Avenue, his vehicle collided with the pedestrian in the roadway, police said.
Lanoka Harbor EMS treated the patient and transported him to the medevac. Police didn't publicly release the identity of the driver or the pedestrian.
