Lacey Kohl's Closes To Slow Spread Of Coronavirus
All Kohl's locations will stay closed through at least April 1. They will pay employees in the meantime.

LACEY, NJ — All Kohl's stores, including Lacey's on Main Street, will close in an effort to slow the spread of the novel coronavirus. Each location will stay closed until at least April 1.
The company will pay employees during the two-week period of store closures. Kohl's has about 40 New Jersey locations. Customers can still order online or through the Kohl's app.
"The health and safety of our associates and customers is our top priority," said CEO Michelle Gass.

Governor Phil Murphy announced 318 new cases of the coronavirus Thursday, raising the state total to 742. The virus has killed nine in New Jersey as of Thursday afternoon. Read more: Gov. Phil Murphy: 4 More NJ Coronavirus Deaths, 318 New Cases
Murphy has gradually ordered the closure of businesses to slow the spread of the virus. He has not yet forced department stores, such as Kohl's, to close.

President Donald Trump and the federal government have advised the public to avoid gatherings of more than 10 people.
