Lacey Memorial Day Parade Will Mean Temporary Traffic Changes On Monday
The parade will be followed by a memorial service at Bicentennial Park.
Motorists will see some temporary traffic changes on Memorial Day for the parade and memorial ceremony on Lacey Road, Police Chief Michael DiBella said.
Police will block off traffic at 9:45 a.m. on Monday, May 29 on Lacey Road from just west of the Forked River Elementary School by Caldwell Avenue to three blocks west of the Lacey Township Municipal Building by Newark Avenue, the chief said.
The parade will start at 10 a.m.

At the end of the parade, Lacey Road will be blocked between Manchester Avenue and Newark Avenue until approximately 12:00 p.m for a memorial service at Bicentennial Park in front of the police department.
Anyone driving in the area of Lacey Road during this time should find an alternate route . The side streets to Lacey Road will be barricaded during the parade, the chief said.
