Lacey Municipal Alliance Sets Date For Annual 5K Fundraiser

LACEY, NJ — Registration is open for the Lacey Municipal Alliance’s 21st annual 5K Race on Aug. 28.

Runners can participate in the 5K race, the 1-mile fun run/walk or a kiddie dash. Detailed information about registration and entry fees can be found here.

Proceeds from the race will benefit substance abuse prevention, the recreation department and the Lacey Food Bank.

The course features a flat USATF certified 5K course through the scenic Gille Park.

Amenities include custom designed performance t-shirts (adult sizes only) guaranteed to pre-registrants, ChronoTrack Timing Technology by Elite Racing Systems, multiple water stops, clocks at mile one and two, prize drawings and refreshments.

Awards will be given to the top three male and females who are 12 and under, 13-15, 16-19 and 5 year age groups (thru 80 and over); top male and female Lacey residents; team challenge; and the Mayor’s trophy.
