Now that the weather is getting nice, what better way to enjoy it than eating outside at a local restaurant around Lacey.
LACEY, NJ — Looking for the best restaurants in the Lacey area to enjoy a good meal outside? Luckily there are plenty of options, whether it's a casual dinner for two, brunch with the family or just a quick bite by yourself.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, outdoor dining has been expanding — even during the colder months. Many eateries got creative during the winter, setting up indoor dining tents and even igloos.
But the days of needing shelter from the cold are waning, setting up the chance for even more opportunities to eat al fresco in the coming months.

The Waterfront, 361 East Lacey Rd, Forked River; 609-888-6063: People are welcome to both dock and dine at The Waterfront. The restaurant's outdoor lounge area is complete with fire pits and live music on the weekends.

Kate & Ally's Restaurant, 216 N Main St, Forked River; 609-971-8888: Kate & Ally's Restaurant is open Thursday through Saturday night from 4-9 p.m. The restaurant is BYOB and encourages customers to call ahead for reservations.
Captain's Inn, 304 E Lacey Rd, Forked River; 609-693-3351: The outdoor deck at Captain's Inn provides dinner with a view overlooking the water. Check out the restaurant's live music schedule here. Reservations are required.
Breakers Kitchen & Tap, 535 Route 9, Waretown; 609 312-7874: Breakers Kitchen & Tap is nestled next to the Barnegat Branch Rail Trail in Waretown. The restaurant's menu includes craft beers from local breweries.
Shady Rest Restaurant, 796 Atlantic City Blvd, Bayville; 732-269-0847: Shady Rest Restaurant invites people to dine in the serenity of their garden. The family-owned restaurant specializes in pizza, comfort foods and cocktails.
